NCAA still has no clear plan for 2021 probable Bracket format

As months go by and different sports leagues come back to action, many sports bettors wonder what is the plan for college sports? When will we be able to enjoy our NCAA basketball or football again, and how? This is a hard and tricky subject, of course, and is not to be taken lightly, but it’s something that, eventually, we will have to figure out somehow.

The thing with college sports, and NCAA basketball specially, to talk about one specific example, is that there are just too many teams, so the logistic is completely different from any professional league like the NBA or NFL, where 30 teams compete. We’re talking about hundreds of teams in NCAA basketball, in different divisions, different areas, time zones, we’re talking about young students who can’t forget about their academic life and that, on top of all, don’t get paid to play in this league, so it’s pretty safe to say that it’s complicated.

It’s also important to mention that, as opposed to the NBA, for example, there is no one single league making decisions, but there are many institutions and officials looking out for their best interests, and understandably.

How would a 2021 NCAA Bracket look like?

There have been many conversations going on about how to play the new season, and there is no agreement still. Some people have called for an extended season and a 96-team final bracket, for example, but then many things come in play, like the fact that in this case, many negative-record teams would be going to the final bracket and it wouldn’t be fair to the top seeded.

There have ben talks of rearranging divisions, traveling adjustments, schedule changes and so on, but the truth is, there is still a long way to go, and it will be a bumpy one, until we figure this out.

What do you think about all this? Do you agree on making substantial changes to the next NCAA basketball season?
